1How would you describe your style?
I would describe my photography style as documentary, natural and earthy. My desired color palette is full of neutral colors and I love capturing life unfiltered.
My documentary touch to photography celebrates the raw, genuine moments that unfold naturally, revealing authentic stories and emotions without the need for staging.
2I don't know how much time I need for the photo session - Can you help?
I offer sessions of three different lengths: 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 90 minutes. You can read more about what they include from the Services-page. I'm always happy to help to choose the right package for you based on your needs.
3How can I book a photo or video session?
I’m happy to reserve you a session after agreeing with the service terms & having all the information I need for the reservation.
Non-refundable booking fee is will be taken in order to secure the date for both of us.
4How much is the booking fee?
Booking fee is 80 EUR. I will send you a pdf-invoice which all the needed details for paying it.

5Do you do shoots outside of Helsinki?
Absolutely! Although I’m living in Helsinki – I love doing shoots further from here. There is a small travel compensation fee (0.55€/km after 15km), but I’ll always point this out when making an offer for you
6How many pictures do you deliver?
I deliver the agreed amount of pictures; from 30 min session you'll get 15, 60 min session 30 and 90 min 50+
7Where can we shoot?
We can shoot in a milieu of your choice. I love handing out recommendations of photo spots in Helsinki - I've got plenty of them!
8How should I prepare for a photo session?
After reading the photo session process from below you should be completely good to go! Wear comfy, neutral colored clothing that reflects your personal style & keep an open mind when coming to being photographed <3
9How fast do you deliver the pictures?
I’ll promise to deliver the full gallery and/ or video within six (6) weekdays after the shoot. I don't usually share sneak peek pictures, since the delivery time is quite short anyways. Please point out if you would prefer to have few sneak peaks right after the shoot - I do not take extra charge of this.
10How does the online gallery work?
I will deliver a link to the online gallery with a password. You are able to share the gallery to your guests - therefore everybody can download pictures from it. Online gallery is available for one (1) month after delivery date. Make sure to upload the full gallery to your own device before this.
11Can I see the RAW-pictures?
Unfortunately I can not show you the original RAW-files – only the promised amount of edited pictures in JPG-file format.
12How do you retouch the pictures?
I process all images according to my style, i.e. I make adjustments regarding brightness, colors and white balance. My opinion is that everyone is beautiful the way they are, so I don’t do actual photo manipulation. I always listen to your wishes regarding the editing process, so feel free to express these.
13What are my rights to the delivered pictures?
When the pictures are delivered to you, you get full usage rights for them. When publishing photos, I would naturally hope my name to be mentioned – yet not obligated. (Vera Kota-aho / @veramoi)
14What are photographers rights to the pictures?
I keep full rights to the pictures as well, if not agreed otherwise. I can use the pictures as reference on my social media and homepage (and in other commercial use)
15I booked a 30 min photo session but would like to extend it to 60 min – Can I change it?
Of course you can! Since the booking fee is already paid, we can extend the session and I will charge the remaining price on the final invoice, which will be sent after the shoot.
16What if I need to cancel the shoot?
I’m so sorry to hear you need to cancel – non-refundable booking fee can not be returned, yet there will not be final invoice of the shoot.
17What if I need to change the day of the shoot?
Of course you can! Changes are part of life & I can modify your reservation if needed.
Video sessions
1How should I prepare for video session?
I will send you a short questionary regarding topics that affects the video production. These includes the aspect ratio of the video, music selection, story concept, props used and text selection.
2Can I choose any music for the video?
My short video sessions does not include licensed music. Therefore I use legally licensed/royalty-free songs, even if the video is only for your use and not e.g. published anywhere. As the creator of the video, I am responsible for ensuring that copyright matters are fulfilled. We can discuss regarding the music, in order to find a suitable song for your video.
3Do you offer hybrid short sessions?
I do! I'm happy to make an offer for you based on your needs (how many pictures/ how long video are you looking for)

BOOKING FEE
Booking fee of 80 EUR confirms your booking & this fee is non-refundable. If you would need to change the date of the shoot, please reach me out.

PLANNING
Planning is an important part of the end result. Let me know if you have a special topic for the shoot and show me reference pictures if possible.
DAY OF THE SHOOT
Let's meet as agreed and have a fun photo session together! Wear comfortable clothes, that are preferably from a neutral color palette. If the shoot would extend, I'm able to invoice based on the actual time of the shoot. - Let's not be in a rush :)
FINAL INVOICE
Final invoice will be sent after the shoot, based on the actual time spent. Booking fee will be deducted from this invoice. The final invoice needs to be paid before delivery of the photos. The sooner the better, therefore the photos can be also delivered earlier.
DELIVERY & ONLINE GALLERY
The photos will be delivered no later than six (6) working days after the session, as long as the final invoice is paid. Online gallery will be presented & you are able to download your preferred shots. The gallery is open one (1) month after the delivery date.
